About

This is a hand kept calendar of the marketing conferences that are worth a senior marketer's time. It is curated, not comprehensive. There are hundreds of marketing events a year and most of them are not worth three days and a flight.

What gets listed

Events where the room is senior enough that the hallway is worth as much as the stage. That includes the big ones everyone knows, and it includes the small invitation-only summits that nobody keeps a public list of, because someone should.

Invitation-only events are listed with the access stated so you know before you look. No private contact details are published here.

What the labels mean

• mega is many thousands of people. major is a serious industry event you can still navigate. boutique is small and usually curated. vendor is run by a company for its customers, which does not make it bad, it makes it a different thing.
• open means you can buy a ticket. apply means you submit and they decide. invite only means they come to you.

Tier and access are judgment calls, not facts from the organizer. Dates and locations are facts, checked against the organizer's own page, with the date of the check on each event page.

How current this is

Events whose last day has passed disappear from the calendar automatically in your browser. Nothing else here is automatic. New events get added by hand, which means the honest failure mode is that this list falls behind rather than that it goes wrong. If a year looks empty, that is the calendar being behind, and the page will say so.

Corrections

Dates move, venues change and events get quietly cancelled. If you spot something wrong, send it to hello@cgohub.com or use the submission form. Corrections are read by a person, not a queue.

Who runs it

Built and maintained by Mike Jacobs, who has been building and running websites since the late nineties and has sat through more of these than he would like to admit. It is not sponsored, it takes no money from organizers, and no listing here was paid for.
